We're a family-run farm nestled in the heart of Burleson, TX, built on a lifelong passion for animals and the land. Halbert Farm is a dream come true for my dad and I, born from shared memories of growing up around animals – his on a dairy farm in upstate New York, mine sparked by his stories and the dream of one day having my own farm.
In 2013, we established Halbert Farm and our journey began! We quickly fell head-over-heels for the unique charm of Kunekune pigs, and that sparked our focus on preserving rare heritage breeds. Today, we're proud to specialize in:

ABOUT HALBERT FARM KUNEKUNE PIGS
At Halbert Farm, our Kunekune pigs are more than just livestock – they're family. These gentle, grazing pigs thrive in our natural, sustainable environment, rotational grazing on our10 acres and enjoying the refreshing waters of our two ponds. We're deeply committed to providing our pigs with a happy, healthy, and enriching lifestyle.
We're passionate about preserving the genetic diversity of this unique breed, and our herd boasts an impressive representation of Kunekune lineage, with 7 out of 11 active male lines and 11 of 14 active female lines. We can offer breeding pairs and sets with low COI and an array of color. We also have two Champion pigs that we have shown ourselves and plan to add more titles in the years to come.
